ALMATEA 1st Open Call
Open Call Opportunity to develop, test, and validate cutting‑edge software and hardware solutions for façade applications, leveraging AI, digital twins, and advanced robotics.
• Application Period: The call’s deadline is November 7th 2025, 17:00 CEST.
• For whom: This call is open to digital technology developers (individual applications by SMEs or startups), established in EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries, with cutting-edge software or hardware solutions for the construction sector.
• Eligibility: Individual applications
• Funding: Selected proposals will receive funding (up to 100 000 euros for software solutions and up to 200 000 euros for hardware projects) and will be invited to a 9 to 12 months support programme, including technical mentoring and business support. It’s expected that up to 25 beneficiaries will be selected.

COSMIC 1st Open Call
Open Call Opportunity to tackle key challenges in energy, industry, transport, and resource management through eight innovation areas, each driving AI-powered sustainability solutions.
• Application Period: The call’s deadline is October 27th 2025, 17:00 CEST.
• For whom: Individual SMEs (including start-ups) in EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries
• Eligibility: Each applicant must demonstrate the ability to provide at least 30% of the total project
budget through self-financing. Multiple proposals can be submitted, but only one can be fun
• Funding: up to €150,000 per FSTP beneficiary: non-profit SMEs/start-ups may receive up to 100% of eligible costs; other SMEs/start-ups up to 70%.

HEDGE-IoT Open Call 1
Open Call Opportunity to empower SMEs and startups by providing financial support and resources to develop innovative, IoT-enabled, data-driven energy services within the HEDGE-IoT framework.
• Application Period: The call’s deadline is October 24th 2025, 17:00 CEST.
• For whom: Applicants must be profit making Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) or Startups.
• Funding: HEDGE-IoT Open Call 1 will distribute a total of €700,000 for financial support, with a maximum funding of €60,000 per third party. Up to 12 projects will be funded.

I3-4-SEAWEED Open Call – Strand B Macroalgal Biotechnology and Downstream applications
Open Call Opportunity to address the challenges and contribute to the investment project by addressing critical needs, such as closing gaps in the value chain, supporting product and process testing and optimisation, or advancing new processing technologies.
• Application Period: The call’s deadline is October 22nd 2025, 17:00 CEST.
• For whom: SMEs that have a participation in the seaweed value chain and present very specific needs and solutions (from production to downstream applications) supporting directly or indirectly the I3-4-Seaweed investment cases and this create a solid ground for a successful scale-up and market entry.
• Eligibility: legal entities or consortia of up to two legal SME entities.
• Funding: Up to 30 proposals will be funded. Each proposal will be awarded with €60,000

dAIEDGE 3rd Open Call – Collaborative Projects
Open Call Opportunity to strengthen and support the development of a dynamic European cutting-edge AI ecosystem under the umbrella of the European Lighthouse for AI, and to sustain the development of advanced AI.
• Application Period: The call’s deadline is October 14th 2025, 15:00 CEST.
• For whom: Research and Technology Organisations (RTO), Academia, or SMEs, including Startups.
• Eligibility: legal entities, applying individually or as a consortium of up to 2 entities.
• Funding: The Collaborative Projects will finance up to 10 Proposals. Each proposal may receive up to €60,000 in equity-free funding, as well as Tailored technical mentoring from dAIEDGE experts.

WASABI 2nd Open Call
Open Call Opportunity to participate in the digital transformation towards Industry 5.0. Selected participants will implement cutting-edge AI-based assistance solutions aimed at enhancing manufacturing processes and products, as well as develop and implement a marketplace to commercialize the digital assistant.
• Application Period: The call’s deadline is October 9th 2025, 17:00 CEST.
• For whom: SMEs from the manufacturing sector interested in integrating and exploring AI-based digital assistant solutions to support, optimize, or enhance their existing processes or products. Participation of a Digital Innovation Hub (DIH) or a European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) is mandatory for all proposals.
• Eligibility:Applications are only accepted from consortia composed of 2 to 3 legal entities, including at least one SME from the manufacturing sector and one Digital Innovation Hub (DIH) or European DIH (EDIH). An optional third partner can be included if additional IT expertise is required.
• Funding: The total funding allocated for the 2nd Open Call is €1.522.250,00. Funding will be awarded to selected consortia until the total budget is fully allocated. The 2nd Open Call aims to fund at least 10 consortia. Funding will be provided under a Lump Sum model, which simplifies financial reporting. Key points include:
• The maximum funding per experiment is €125,000;
• Each partner may receive up to €60,000;
• At least 85% of the funding must be allocated to SMEs.

NGI Zero Commons Fund
Open Call Opportunity to help deliver, mature and scale new internet commons across the whole technology spectrum, from libre silicon to middleware, from P2P infrastructure to convenient end user applications.
• Application Period: The ninth call of NGI Zero Commons Fund opened up on August 1st 2025, with a deadline of October 1st 2025 12:00 CEST (noon).
• For whom: Applications are open to individuals, research organizations, non-profits, public institutions, and companies of any size and type.
• Eligibility:Applicants can apply as individuals or as part of formal or informal organizations.
• Funding: NGI is seeking project proposals between 5.000 and 50.000 euros — with the possibility to scale them up significantly if there is proven potential.

AGRARIAN – Open Call 2 (IMPLEMENT)
Open Call Opportunity to attract consortia or individuals (SMEs, Universities, research centres, NGOs and foundations) for bringing new pilots and edge agricultural applications to the project and integrating them to the AGRARIAN platform.
• Application Period: Submission to the Open Call 2 was enabled on August 1st 2025 and will end on September 30st 2025 17:00 CET (Brussels time). Selected projects are expected to start on December 1st 2025.
• For whom: European SMEs, start-ups, universities, research centres, NGOs, and foundations developing innovative agricultural tools and applications.
• Eligibility:The applicants may form mini consortia of 1-3 partners (e.g. technology provider and SME) for providing the new pilots to the project.
• Funding: The total amount of funding that will be provided is EUR 400,000 while each selected entity will receive €50,000. It is expected that up to 8 applicants will be selected via this open call.

CyberSecDome Open Call 2
Open Call Opportunity to engage cross-sector and cross-border third parties to accelerate the integration of advanced security solutions into digital systems and infrastructures. Through this initiative, we seek to enhance trust, security, and resilience across ICT products, services, and processes within the digital ecosystem.
• Application Period: Deadline will be on September 30, 2025 at 17:00 (Brussels time)
• For whom: Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs); Research institutions and academics; Public and private sector entities; Industry professionals and large enterprises.
• Eligibility: Applicants can apply individually, in teams of two, or as part of a consortium of up to three organizations. Each consortium must include at least one SME as a partner.
• Funding: The maximum funding for any proposal is €120,000.

• Eligibility: The mission will welcome 12 to 16 participants, depending on budget availability. Selected mission participants must pay a deposit of €1000 to secure their spot. This deposit will be refunded after a post-event survey is submitted. Cancelling after confirming your participation will result in a forfeiture of the deposit.
